The East Neuk is synonymous with the game of golf and Balcomie Links Hotel enjoys its prime position at the heart of the home of golfing.
The hotel, one of Scotland’s oldest purpose built Golf hotels, takes its name from the Old Tom Morris designed golf course at the outstanding Crail Golfing Society – the 7th oldest in the world – and, along with its Craighead sister course, can be found a mere mile down the road. Three miles on, you’ll discover the Top 100 ranked course of Kingsbarns, travel a further three miles to find the two clifftop courses of The Fairmont, while continuing for another four miles and you’ll be in the ‘home of golf’ itself, St Andrews, with its seven exceptional courses, including the legendary Old Course.
Other nearby courses include Anstruther, Elie, Charleton, Dumbarnie Links… we could go on but we think you get the sense that you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to a memorable eighteen holes with no shortage of exceptional courses on this part of the breathtaking Scottish coast.
